Check Your Social Media Security
If you've been using social media for a while the chances are good that you've given permissions to your social media accounts to a LOT of different applications - some of which you tried once and abandoned. On this page I'm going to give you a few links to where you can go to clean that up.
In fact I just went through and removed more than a dozen apps from the various services. They were things I didn't use - and in some cases don't remember ever using - and it's just cleaner and better to NOT give them access.
Nothing on this page is an application - they're simply links to the correct pages in the social media sites where you can see what applications you've given access to and you can choose to keep or revoke those applications. You can find all of these pages yourself easily enough - I'm just aggregating them here in one place to make it easier for you.
- Twitter: https://twitter.com/settings/applications
- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications
- LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/secure/settings?userAgree=&goback=.nas_*1_*1_*1

I'll be adding new links as I go. If you have one to suggest, please send it along! firstname.lastname@example.org.
