ProLaw and Outlook can synchronize e-mails, attachments, tasks and calendar items between them. That synchronization can be either bi-directional or one-way. Bi-directional synchronization allows you to create or edit an item in either Outlook or ProLaw and have the changes reflected in the other program as well. One-Way synchronization means that only changes made in one application or the other will be reflected in both.
What You Should Know...
When an event synchronizes from ProLaw to Outlook the Location field does not populate. That means the Outlook appointment item will have a blank location field. Not a huge crisis because, frankly, a lot of people don't use the Location field anyhow. But Location is a handy tool and more people SHOULD use it.
If you send e-mail from ProLaw Matters and the recipient replies to it that reply will just go to your regular Outlook Inbox. You'll have to Pro-File it or drag and drop it back into the matter.
