Taste of TECHSHOWQ: "What are these TECHSHOW "dinearounds" I keep hearing about? A: Sure, it's actually called "Taste of TECHSHOW" and they are dutch-treat dinners hosted by TECHSHOW speakers. Each night there are maybe a dozen different dinners scheduled. Each dinner is hosted by two TECHSHOW speakers - myself and Eric Fleckles will be hosting one for example - at an area restaurant (almost all of the restaurants are within walking distance of the conference hotel). Each dinner has a nominal topic - Cloud computing, Microsoft Office, eDiscovery, Macs in the Law Office, that sort of thing, but the conversation tends to turn to whatever the attendees would like to talk about. You're not required to attend, but you can if you like. Some people pick a dinner based on topic, others pick a dinner based upon speakers they'd like to dine with. And some pick a dinner hosted at a restaurant that interests them. There's no extra cost - just whatever you pay for dinner. Sign-ups are generally at the Conference Concierge desk at TECHSHOW and the popular ones can fill up fast so you might want to take a look at it right after registration. Interested In Attending?Andrea Cannavina (The Legal Typist) is putting together groups to attend on Super Passes. It's a more economical way to get to TECHSHOW and as of 3/15/2010 she's still got some openings. E-mail: techshow@legaltypist.com if you're interested!
